It’s tough out there. The big companies have endless time and resources with which to frustrate you. Their current credo seems to be, “millions for defense, not a nickel for justice.” Worse, the persistent campaigns they underwrite, both in the media and in Washington, have aggravated the matter by politicizing the atmosphere and effectively poisoning prospective jurors. And it is your clients, and the justice to which they are entitled, that suffer.

AMSO is a sign maker and printer in Yonkers. The market for custom made signage has some unusual characteristics. The customer base is limited and you don't do much repeat work (mom and pops don't typically open more than one shop). Your best advertising is word of mouth, but online advertising is a close second. People opening up their first shop are likely to be searching the internet for everything from storefront awnings to display cases.

YOH Gallery is Laura Fahrenthold and Mark Pittman's art project for downtown Yonkers, New York. The couple put on the first YOH Gallery show June 2005. Laura and Mark are both journalists, which helped when it came to write the copy. Laura interviewed each of artists and wrote a short bio for the web page and the wall blurbs. Kyle Brauer designed the logotype and the signage and we worked together on the overall design of the website.
